Purpose of Role

To support the day-to-day operation of the business by coordinating production schedules, materials, subcontract suppliers, and customer requirements to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Planning

· Coordinate daily production schedules with workshop supervisors.

· Monitor job progress and identify potential delays.

· Update production planning systems and work orders.

· Assist with capacity planning and machine utilisation tracking.

· Ensure priorities are communicated across departments.

· Assist in customer concession submissions

Customer & Project Support

· Act as a point of contact for customer enquiries and order updates.

· Provide progress reports on active projects.

· Coordinate customer deliveries and collections.

· Support project managers with administration and reporting.

Purchasing & Supply Chain

· Raise purchase orders and track supplier deliveries.

· Manage material shortages and expedite urgent requirements.

· Liaise with subcontractors and external suppliers.

· Maintain inventory and stock records.

Quality & Compliance

· Ensure manufacturing documentation is complete and up to date.

· Support ISO 9001 and AS9100 compliance activities.

· Maintain records of NCRs, concessions, and corrective actions.

· Assist with audit preparation and document control.

Administration

· Daily delivery schedule checks, update customers on changes in schedule

· Maintain ERP/MRP system accuracy.

· Coordinate meetings and record actions.

· Support continuous improvement initiatives

· Provide customers with correct delivery documentation
